Glenn McGrath and Jane founded the McGrath Foundation, a breast cancer support and education charity in Australia, in 2002. The couple started The McGrath Foundation more than 11 years ago. The organisation also provides education to increase breast awareness in young people, with a particular emphasis on young women. Upon Jane McGrath’s death in June 2008, Glenn accepted the voluntary position of chairman of the McGrath Foundation’s board of trustees. He participates in many activities related to the Foundation in order to further the vision and mission of that foundation.

As of April 2016, the McGrath Foundation has placed 110 McGrath Breast Care Nurses throughout Australia, who have helped provide support to more than 33,000 Australian families in need of breast cancer support.
