Jason Martinez an American Emmy award-winning journalist working at Fox affiliate WTXF-Tv in Philadelphia as the main evening news anchor. Previously, before joining WTXF, he worked at KXTV in Sacramento, California as a morning and midday news anchor for four years three months.
He is also a musician and has been a drummer since age four. Martinez even has had the chance to share the stage with great musicians, covering a variety of genres such as funk, country, jazz, Latin, R&B, soul and rock. Additionally, he is also an avid golfer who cannot seem to find the fairway.

Martinez began his career as a reporter at WTVG in Toledo, Ohio. From here he moved to KFSN where he worked as a news anchor from 2004 to January 2009. Martinez joined KTLA in 2009 serving as an anchor and reporter for a year before transferring to WPLG in 2010.
His main duties there were anchoring the morning and noontime news. Jason again moved to ABC 10 News in 2015 as a morning and Midday anchor. His tenure there lasted four years three months. He then joined Fox 29 in Jun 2019 where he has been working to date.

After reshuffling was seemingly complete, Jason began co-anchoring the FOX 29 News at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 10 p.m., and 11 p.m. with Humphries on June 17, 2019. Jason and Humphries will be joined by sports anchor Kristen Rodgers and meteorologists Kathy Orr and Scott Williams.
