Jenna Coleman (Jenna-Louise Coleman) a British actress known for her role in the ITV drama series Victoria as she plays the lead role of being Queen Victoria. She is as well known for her roles as Jasmine Thomas in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, Clara Oswald in the BBC series Doctor Who.

Coleman started off her acting while still young, as a theatre actress with the company caller In Yer Space. In 2005, she got to auditioning for drama schools when she earned the role of Jasmne Thomas in Emmerdale. This earned her a critical acclaim for her performance and a nomination for the Most Popular Newcomer award at the 2006 National Television Awards.
In 2009, she featured as “hard girl” Lindsay James in the BBC school-based drama series Waterloo Road while in 2012, she as well played Susan Brown in a BBC Four television adaptation of the John Braine novel Room at the Top. She as well appeared in other films such as in Titanic of (2012) four part mini-series as Annie Desmond, as Rosie in the original drama series Dancing on the Edge (2013), as Lydia Wickham in the BBC drama miniseries Death Comes to Pemberley (2013) and as Katrina Clark in the romance film Me Before You (2016).

Coleman featured in the series Doctor Who as Clara Oswald in seasons 7, 8, 9, and in the 2017 Special. Her role was confirmed by the series’ producer Steven Moffat on 21st March 2012. Clara the wife to the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith).
She left the show after its ninth series to take on a role as Queen Victoria in an ITV production “Victoria”. She got back to the show in 2017 for Twelfth Doctor’s last episode “Twice Upon a Time” where she made a cameo appearance.
