Jintimani Kalita is an Indian cricketer who represents Assam at the domestic level. She came into the limelight when she was bought by the franchise team Mumbai Indians for the inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League on 14 February 2023.

Jintimani Nakul Kalita was born on Thursday, 25 December 2003 (age 19 years; as of 2022), and she hails from Mangaldoi, Assam. Her zodiac sign is Capricorn. She attended Mangaldai Nagar Girls Higher Secondary School. Her inclination towards cricket could be traced back to 2016 when she was 12 and used to accompany her brother to training. Soon, she grabbed the ball herself and turned into a quick-opening bowler. Known for her bowling prowess, Kalita first began her training at Mangaldoi Cricket Stadium.

Career
On the domestic level, she has represented Assam Women in U-19 as well as senior women categories.
She played for Assam in the Senior Women’s T20 League (2019). For U-19 Women’s One-Day Challenger Trophy (2021), she was named to the India B team. She was named to the Assam Squad for Women’s Senior One Day Trophy 2021-22. Her career highlights include a match against Meghalaya in the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy in which Assam was four down for 56 when Kalita walked in and played a mature inning of 78 off 114 balls, helping Assam get to 214. In 2022, she was among the top 25 u-19 cricketers called up by the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for a high-performance camp. She was a part of Dhansiri Dashers Women for Byju’s Women’s T20 Challengers Trophy 2022. During the tournament, she won the title of Player of the match.
She represented India A in the Quadrangular Women’s U19 T20 series (2022) that featured Sri Lanka and West Indies; India A won by 7 wickets. For the inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League in 2023, she was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 10 Lakh.
