In 2019, he participated in the Indo-International Premier Kabaddi League (IIPKL) in which he was a member of the Pune Pride team. Pune Pride won the trophy of IIPKL, and Jitendra was chosen as the ‘Best Defender of the Tournament.’

In July 2019, he participated as a member of the Indian Men’s Kabaddi team and won gold in the World Cup Kabaddi held in Melaka, Malaysia. In December 2022, he won the title of Best Defender of the Tournament at the All India Karnataka Kabaddi Tournament held in Mangalore, Karnataka. In season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League, he was bought by Gujarat Giants for Rs 9 lakhs in 2023.
