Orlando first came to the limelight on social media through his YouTube channel where he posted covers of pop songs by artists like Austin Mahone and Justin Bieber.
In May 2018, Orlando signed with Universal Music Canada and released the singles What If and Last Summer in the same year 2018. He performed alongside Carly Rae Jepsen at the public unveiling of the Christmas display at the Hudson Bay Company’s flagship store in November 2018, in downtown Toronto. In 2019, Johnny’s full debut EP was released.
