After completing his schooling at Patiala’s Yadavindra Public School, he graduated from Mohindra College, Panjab University, Chandigarh. At the age of 20, Navjot gave a trial for the Indian National Cricket Team and got selected for the team.
Karan’s mother, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, is an Indian politician and a doctor (gynecologist). Born on 15 June 1963, Navjot Kaur attended Sacred Heart Convent School in Ludhiana following which she pursued an MBBS degree at a medical college in Patiala. After completing her education, she started serving the Punjab Health Department as a gynecologist. She served as the ‘Chief Parliamentary Secretary’ of the Health & Family Welfare Department of Punjab.
Karan’s sister, Rabia Sidhu, born in 1995, is a fashion designer. She studied at Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore. Thereafter, she pursued a master’s degree at Istituto Marangoni in London.

Karan’s paternal grandfather, Sardar Bhagwant Singh (deceased), was a cricketer. He served as the Attorney General of Punjab. Karan’s paternal grandmother’s name is Nirmal Sidhu.

Karan got married to Inayat Randhawa in Patiala, Punjab, on 7 December 2023.
The couple got engaged in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, on 26 June 2023.

Karan follows Sikhism; however, he often participates in Hindu rituals like his father.
Career
Karan practiced advocacy at Delhi High Court for six years. He worked at Punjab Advocate General’s office but he didn’t charge any money. In 2018, he was among the several legal professionals appointed to the Advocate General’s Office list of lawyers who would be representing the government in cases before the Punjab and Haryana High Court and the Supreme Court. According to reports, the Punjab government appointed Karan Singh Sidhu as assistant advocate general in May 2018; however, amid criticism from the opposition parties, Navjot Singh Sidhu stated during a media interaction that Karan would not accept the position.

He has been practicing for six years in the Delhi high court and in the Punjab advocate general office since the past one year.
