Kartar Cheema made his acting debut in 2006 with the Panjabi language drama series ‘Saude Dillan De.’ Next, in 2007, he made his film debut with Jagtar Singh directed film ‘Kaun Kise Da Beli.’ The film was released on 28 December 2007, and featured actors including Preet Brar, Jagtar Jaggi, Binnu Dhillon, B.N. Sharma, and Surendra Sharma. In 2008, he appeared as Lally in Gaurav Trehan’s Punjabi langauge romantic comedy film ‘Hashar: A Love Story.’ His performance in the film brought him huge recognition for his work.
