Telugu

Karthika Nair made her acting debut, at the age of seventeen, with the Telugu film “Josh” in 2009, opposite Naga Chaitanya. In the film, she played the role of Vidya, an elementary school teacher desperate to attend college. Her performance in the film received positive reviews, despite the film’s mixed reception. In 2012, she appeared as Neelaveni in a Telugu film titled “Dammu.” The film received mixed reviews from film critics and was a commercial failure. In 2014, Karthika Nair appeared in the film “Brother of Bommali” where she played the role of Mahalakshmi/Lucky, the streetwise tomboy twin sister of Allari Naresh’s character.

In 2011, Karthika Nair appeared in the Tamil film “Ko” as Renuka Narayanan opposite Jiiva and Piaa Bajpai. The film was a great success and brought her fame.
