Wiki/Biography
Kayleigh McEnany was born as Kayleigh Michelle McEnany on Monday, April 18, 1988 (age 32 years; as of 2020), in Tampa, Florida, U.S. She grew up in Florida along with her two siblings, one sister, and one brother. Kayleigh McEnany and her sister, Ryann, attended the Academy of the Holy Names, an all-girls private Catholic preparatory school in Tampa.
After graduating from high school in 2006, she attended Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Washington D.C. where she majored in International Politics. Ms. McEnany left Georgetown for a year abroad at Oxford University in England where she was taught politics by Nick Thomas Symonds who later became British Shadow Home Secretary. Upon graduating from Georgetown in 2010, McEnany spent three years as a producer on the Mike Huckabee Show, a TV political commentary program on Fox News. In an interview, while talking about her experience with the Mike Huckabee Show, she said,
Working for The Mike Huckabee Show afforded me a number of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. I got to travel to Israel and write questions for Huckabee’s interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. I also produced interviews in London before the Royal Wedding in 2011.”
After leaving Fox News, she enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law. Later, she was transferred to Harvard Law School where she pursued her J.D. She graduated from Harvard in 2016. In an interview, she explained how her career in politics had influenced her approach to law school –
Writing really hard-hitting questions in media has helped me ask critical questions while studying law. I believe the facts should lead you to your conclusion. However, with ideologies, people tend to reach conclusions that are not necessarily supported by the facts. My law professors have gotten me to question my views on issues I had preconceived ideas about.”
According to Michael Dale Huckabee, who presented the Mike Huckabee Show, Ms. McEnany left Fox as she didn’t saw any on-air opportunity.
I think one of the reasons that Kayleigh went on to law school was because she didn’t see she was going to have an on-air opportunity at Fox anytime soon.”

I was a walk-on and I love walk-ons,” Mike said. “Not just because I was one, but for whatever reason, they were overlooked by everybody else. That walk-on mentality was in me and it’s in Kayleigh. She’s a fighter. She comes out every day like this is her last day. She prepares. She’s very prepared and it’s not by accident because she knows hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. If nothing else, most of the time with walk-ons they have bigger hearts than they have skills. They make up for lack of skills with heart and effort. That’s just what she does.”
