- In February 2022, Kisbu made headlines after a photographer from Kerala, Arjun Krishnan, posted images of her on his Instagram page. He clicked Kisbu’s pictures at the Andalur Kavu festival on January 17, 2022 when he saw Kisbu selling balloons there.

- Kisbu’s images received a great response on Instagram after which Arjun decided to feature her in a photoshoot. Makeup artist Remya Prajul worked on Kisbu’s transformation for the photoshoot.

- In an interview, Arjun talked about Kisbu and said,
I saw her on a temple street. She was holding balloons and was standing right under the street light, and the overall ambience was also perfect — the temple was crowded, lit, and dusty, too. The moment I saw her, I adjusted my camera settings to photograph her and she happened to look straight at the camera in the third shot — the picture that went viral first. I showed all the pictures to her mother and her, and they were really appreciative.”
- Kisbu was styled in a traditional kasavu saree with gold jewellery for the photoshoot. Later, Arjun took to Instagram and posted the pictures from the photoshoot that was liked by many people.
