Dwarfism

When Krishna was two years old, his parents noticed that Krishna was not growing as per his age and his body and height was different from the other children of his age. After consulting a doctor and conducting a few tests, his parents found that he was a dwarf. During an interview his father said-

After several check-ups, we were told by the doctors that there was some hormone deficiency in the pituitary gland and the success rate of the surgery was very low so we refused it. We were concerned and wanted to divert his mind from overthinking about his height. Krishna was good at volleyball and high jump as well but people with good height got the preference, so it was badminton that we chose.”

Throughout his life, Krishna was bullied for his height by his schoolmates and other people. Krishna tried hard to gain height by becoming more active with physical activities but he couldn’t gain height. However, the active lifestyle sparked his interest in sports, and he started playing sports like the high jump and volleyball.
