Laura Turner is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. She reached her first major final in October 2015 at the British Open, which she went on to win. She is currently ranked 7th in the WDF Women’s Rankings and has achieved several other notable successes throughout her career, including a semi-final appearance at the 2017 World Darts Championship and winning multiple world titles.
Turner is one of the few female professional darts players in the world, and has been a role model for young female darts players throughout her career. She is an outgoing and inspiring character who is always willing to help out with charity initiatives, often taking part in exhibition matches to raise money for worthy causes. Her popularity has grown significantly since her British Open win, with both male and female. In the first round of the 2019 BDO World Darts Championship, Anastasia Dobromyslova of Russia beat her 2–0, giving her her first World Championship victory.
