Lee David is a South Korean actor, who primarily appears in supporting roles in South Korean films and TV series. In 2023, he was announced to appear in the second season of the popular Netflix South Korean survival drama series ‘Squid Game.’


Lee David, also known as Lee Da-wit, was born on Thursday, 3 March 1994 (age 29 years; as of 2023) in Incheon, South Korea. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He attended the Korean Academy of Film Arts.

In 2001, Lee David made his acting debut with the South Korean drama ‘TV Novel: Flower Story.’

In 2008, he played the roles of young Cha-dol and Shi-hoo in the period action TV series ‘Iljimae.’ He made a guest appearance as Park Se-myung in the 2011 South Korean TV series ‘Deep Rooted Tree.’ He is well-known for playing the supporting role of Lee Ho-jin, an investment manager, in the popular 2020 TV series ‘Itaewon Class’ starring Park Seo-joon.

He has acted in many South Korean TV series including ‘Who Are You: School 2015’ (2015), ‘Hey Ghost, Let’s Fight’ (2016), ‘Hotel Del Luna’ (2019), and ‘Law School’ (2021).


Short Film

In 2005, he played the role of In-ho in the South Korean short film ‘A Stirring Ripple.’ Some of the South Korean short films in which he has appeared include ‘Platform’ (2006), ‘Mighty Man’ (2006), and ‘Infernal Affair’ (2009).


In 2006, he appeared as Choi Chi-young in the South Korean film ‘The King of Headbutts.’ He was featured in the award-winning 2010 South Korean-French drama film ‘Poetry’ in which he played the role of an ill-mannered 16-year-old grandson.

He is best known for playing the role of a new soldier named Nam Seong-shik in the 2011 South Korean film ‘The Front Line.’ In 2012, he appeared in a lead role as young Romance Joe in an award-winning comedy-drama film titled ‘Romance Joe.’ He starred in a lead role as Kim Jooni in the 2013 South Korean film ‘Pluto,’ which had its world premiere at the 17th Busan International Film Festival. In the same year, the film was also screened at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival. He has appeared in various South Korean films including ‘The Terror Live’ (2013), ‘A Matter of Interpretation’ (2015), ‘The Fortress’ (2017), and ‘Svaha: The Sixth Finger’ (2019).
