Maipak Devi Ayekam along with the Indian team consisting of Khusbhu, Chaoba Devi Oinam, Priya Devi Elangbam and Leirentom Bi Devi Elangbam lost the match against Thailand with the score of 10–21 and 13–21 in the semifinals. In Sepak Takraw both losing semifinalist teams achieve the bronze medals.
