Mehshar Afridi aka Safdar Azam Khan was born on 15 January in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. He started reading Shayari (poems) at the age of ten. He studied the Urdu language in his school which arose his interest in writing shayaris. He later became a renowned shayar (poet).

He has written many famous shayaris some of which are “tum jo bichhdey ho jald baazi me, yaar tum rooth bhi to saktey they” and “qasam khuda ki badey tajrabey se kehta hoon, gunaah karney me lazzat to hai sukoon nahi.” He has also performed in many mushayaras (poetry shows) all across the world.
