Perry attended Buckley School, a Los Angeles area college preparatory school, when he was 15 years old, majoring in acting. He graduated in 1987.He attended L.A. Connection’s improv comedy courses in Sherman Oaks when he was still in high school.
Perry was found by his assistant in his hot tub at his home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, on October 28, 2023, and declared dead by LAPD police. There were no signs of foul play, and investigators have been unable to figure out what caused death.
