Mukti Gautam was born on Tuesday, 12 July 1994 (age 26 years; as of 2020) in a small village located in Himachal Pradesh. At the age of 10, she moved to Chandigarh with her family. She completed her schooling at The New Public School, Chandigarh. She pursued a B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry and an M.Sc. in Environmental Science (2015-2017) at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Mukti played various sports in her school and college days, which instilled in her the importance and benefits of staying fit.

As an environmentalist

After completing her formal education, Mukti was employed by the Indian government in the ‘Swachh Bharat Mission,’ where she worked on solid waste management projects in Punjab and Haryana. She has also worked at Ernst & Young (a company that provides financial services) and Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company (PMIDC) in Chandigarh.

As a fitness YouTuber

In 2017, being a fitness enthusiast, Mukti started a self-titled YouTube channel to promote a healthy lifestyle. She began guiding people with exercises that do not require expensive gym equipment and easy homemade diet recipes. According to her, Mukti wanted to teach people to cope up with their busy schedules and get some exercise and healthy food.

As of 2021, the subscriber count on her fitness channel is around 755K.

As a YouTube Vlogger

Mukti’s love for food inspired her to start a food vlogging channel, ‘Foodie We,’ in 2019. She was joined by her brother Aditya and boyfriend Onkar in making these vlogs.
