Mumtaz Sorcar, also known as Pratiti Sorcar, is an Indian actress who mainly works in the Bengali film industry. She is the daughter of world-famous magician, PC Sorcar Junior.

She did her schooling from Kolkata’s Modern High School for Girls and went to South Calcutta Law College to pursue BA LLB. She was good at sports in her childhood. Mumtaz Sorcar started her acting career in 2010 with the Bengali film, “033.”
Next, she appeared in Bengali films like “Koyekti Meyer Golpo,” “Bhooter Bhabishyat,” “Not A Dirty Film,” “Half Serious,” “The Play,” and “Dark Chocolate.”
She made her Tamil film debut with the film, “Irudhi Suttru” (2016), Telugu film debut with the film, “Guru” (2017), and Hindi film debut with the film, “Saala Khadoos” (2016).
