Naman Jain is an Indian actor. He came into the limelight after playing the role of ‘Balwan’ in the Bollywood film “Chillar Party” (2011).

Naman Jain was born in 2001 (age 19 years; as of 2020) in Mumbai. He cleared his class 12 exams in the year 2019. Naman desired to pursue a degree in Mass Communication after completing his class 12. He was inclined towards acting since childhood. Naman started his career as a child actor when he was just nine years old with the short film “The Joy of Giving” (2010).

Career

Naman Jain made his Bollywood debut as a child artist in 2011 with the film “Chillar Party” as ‘Balwan.’

He then featured in Bollywood films like Bombay Talkies (2013), Raanjhanaa (2013), and Jai Ho (2014).

Naman made his Marathi debut in 2014 with the film “Vakratunda Mahakaaya” as ‘Altaf.’

In the same year, he made his Hollywood debut with the film “Words with Gods” as ‘Guddu.’ He has also appeared in the English-language French film “The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir” (2018).

He made his television debut in 2018 with the TV series “Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh” in which he played the role of young ‘Baba Ramdev.”

In 2020, he played the role of ‘Babloo Singh Hooda’ in the Bollywood film “Chhalaang.”

    Whatever I know about Swami Ramdev is via this script only as I have never met him in person. In the series, I am shown to have my left side paralysed and have used prosthetic for the same, which is a difficult task for me.”

  • When asked during an interview about what he does with the money he earns, Naman said,

    I have no knowledge about my finances as that is taken care of by my parents. Till date, I have no idea about how much I have been paid for any serial or movie. I am a gadget freak, so I keep on demanding latest gadgets from my parents, which they happily get for me.”

  • In 2011, he won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist for the film Chillar Party.
