Nidhi Subbaiah is an Indian actress and model who mainly works in the Kannada film industry. She is known for the Kannada films Pancharangi (2010) and Krishnan Marriage Story (2011).

Soon after her birth, her family moved to Gokulam in Mysore, where she spent most of her childhood. She did her schooling at Mysore’s St. Joseph’s Central School and went to Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore, to pursue Civil Engineering. Nidhi was good at sports in her school days and won several gold medals at national-level sports meets in sailing. She also holds a record of winning three gold medals in a calendar year at sports meet in sailing events at Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) and Chilka Lake (Orissa). During her college days, she was a Navel NCC cadet and won the best cadet award in the year 2004. While she was in the second year of her college, Nidhi lost her interest in engineering and dropped out of the college. Subsequently, she started taking modelling assignments.

Nidhi started her career as a model. She did a few TV commercials out of which Fair & Lovely advertisement was most notable and bagged her an acting opportunity.

Nidhi started her acting career in 2009 with the Kannada film “Abhimaan” in which she played the role of ‘Aparna.’ In the same year, she made her Telugu film debut with the film “Sweet Heart” as ‘Meenakshi.’ She made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with the film “Oh My God” as ‘Shweta Tiwari.’
