Noel Deyzel was born on Sunday, 30 September 1984 (age 38 years; as of 2022) in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Corporate

He worked as a Technical Manager at the communication company GloCell (MobiBlitz) from March 2002 to March 2005, as Regional Manager from February 2005 to January 2007, and as a Technical and Creative Manager from February 2007 to August 2008. From March 2008 to July 2011, he worked as the Managing Director of the software firm Integral Fusion SA. In June 2011, he became the Managing Director of Thought Inc., a digital marketing, mobile app development, and software development company. In January 2020, he became the Managing Director of Deyzel Industries, which works in the field of fitness. He is the co-owner of Ryse Supplements, a supplement brand founded by Nic Stella.

Bodybuilding & Content Creation

In 2008, he started training to build his physique and later became a professional bodybuilder. He competed in IFBB bodybuilding competitions starting in 2018 including iCandy Classic Pretoria in 2019. He later became an IFBB Heavyweight Bodybuilder.

He started uploading videos regarding his training, diet, and supplements after 2018 and went on to become a famous social media personality. As of July 2023, his YouTube channel Noel Deyzel has 3.7 million subscribers with more than one billion views on his videos.

 

His Instagram account Noel Deyzel Bodybuilder had more than 4 million followers in July 2023. He is also famous for uploading lifestyle tips on his social media handles. As of July 2023, he lives in Dubai; however, he has also trained in different countries including the U.S.A. and Thailand.

Injuries & Surgeries

He has thrice undergone surgeries till July 2023. His first surgery was to treat a biceps tear. In June 2021, he revealed that he suffered from Obstructive Sleep Apnoea which was caused by deviated septum in his nose. He underwent surgery to treat his nose which relieved him of the sleep disorder. In June 2023, he underwent a third surgery to treat Diastasis recti, a condition in which there is a split between the abdominal walls; he had a 2.5-inch gap between his abdominals.

• He is popularly known as Daddy Noel Deyzel among his fans.

• In 2021, he revealed that he was not a natural bodybuilder and used steroids to build up his physique. He criticised other fitness influencers who do not reveal their steroid use and other supplement brands who do not disclose the harmful effects of steroid use.

• On 1 July 2023, he revealed on his Instagram that his friend and fellow bodybuilder, Jo Lindner, died on 30 June 2023. This news caused a stir among Jo’s fans who wrote several tribute messages on his post.
