Director
Padmavathi Ghattamaneni worked as the managing director for Mangal Industries till 31 March 2017. On 6 January 2018, she was appointed as an additional director (non-executive) of Mangal Industries. Later, she became the director of the managing director of the entertainment company named Amara Raja Media and Entertainment Private Limited.
Film producer
In 1990, she debuted as a producer with the Telugu-language film ‘Balachandrudu’ under Padmalaya Studios.
In 2022, she produced her second Telugu-language film titled ‘Hero,’ which was produced under Amara Raja Media and Entertainment Private Limited. Her son, Ashok Galla, was cast in the film in a lead role as Arjun, alongside the actress Nidhhi Agerwal.

Land Encroachment Matter
In 2021, Gopi Krishna, a farmer of Diguvamagam village of Tavanampalli, filed a complaint against Padmavathi Galla, Jayadev Galla, Galla Aruna Kumari, Galla Ramchandra Naidu, and others for grabbing Gopi’s farmland in Diguvamagam village, Tavanampalle Mandal, Andhra Pradesh and using it for constructing buildings for the Rajanna trust. Two months later, he moved the case to a local court. The local court ordered the police to book a case against Jayadev Galla, his family members, and some others.
