Pappu Khanna is an Indian choreographer and film director who mainly works in Bollywood. He is known for his choreography in the films “Laajo” (1983), “Jeeva” (1986), and “Sarfarosh” (1999).

Pappu Khanna was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Pappu was inclined towards dance since childhood. He learnt Kathak from his guru Badri Prasad Awasthi for 11 years. Pappu started his career as a slow dancer in a Gujarati film. Later, he joined a dance academy to learn group dance.

Career
Pappu Khanna made his debut as a choreographer in the early ’80s with a Punjabi film. He choreographed songs for the Punjabi films Lambhardarni (1976) and Sarpanch (1982) and started receiving acting offers in Punjabi films. Subsequently, he choreographed songs for many Bollywood films like Damini (1993), Guddu (1995), Ghatak (1996).
He has also choreographed songs for the films Nikaah (1982), Jai Kishen (1994), Lal Baadshah (1999), and Babuji Ek Ticket Bambai (2017). In 2017, he choreographed the song of the Marathi film Kay Re Rascalaa. He has also choreographed songs for many Bhojpuri films.
Khanna has worked with many well-known Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Akshay Kumar, and Shah Rukh Khan.
