Park Soo Ryun (1994-2023) was a South Korean actress who mainly worked in musicals and was seen in the Koran Drama TV series Snowdrop. She passed away in June 2023 after falling down stairs.

Career
She acted in her first musical titled ‘Il Tenore’ in 2018. She later worked in many musicals including Finding Kim Jong Wook, Passing Through Love, Siddhartha, and The Day We Loved.

In 2021, she acted in the TV series Snowdrop and played the role of a university student. She also uploaded photos of Jung Hae In and Blackpink’s Jisoo Kim on her social media and thanked them for their support.

Death
On 11 June 2023, she was in Jeju Island for her performance on 12 June 2023; however, she fell down stairs and sustained major injuries. She was rushed to the hospital; however, she was pronounced brain dead. Her parents informed the media that her brain stopped working; however, her heart was still beating, hence they decided to donate organs to any needy person. Her mother talked about donating her organs and said,
Only her brain is unconscious, and her heart is still beating. There must be someone who desperately needs [organs]. As her mother and father, we will be able to live comforted [by the thought that her heart] has gone to someone and is beating.”
Her mortuary was created in Suwon Hospital, and the funeral was held at 4 pm KST on 12 June 2023 and was held till the morning of 13 June 2023.
