While in college, she started modelling for various fashion designers. In her teenage, Parul was spotted by a filmmaker at a fashion show. He offered her an advertisement for a chocolate brand, which she accepted.

Career
Parul started her acting career in 2004 with the Tamil film “Dreams” in which she played the role of ‘Charu.’ Next, she made her Malayalam film debut with the film “Krithyam” (2005). Parul made her Kannada film debut in 2012 by playing the role of ‘Rani’ in the film “Bandhu Balaga.”

In 2009, she switched over to television with Colors TV serial “Bhagyavidhaata.” Subsequently, she participated in the comedy reality show “Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala” on Star Plus.
