Parunika Sisodia is an Indian cricketer who plays as a bowler for Delhi Women at the domestic level. On 13 February 2023, Parunika Sisodia was picked up by Gujarat Giants for Rs. 10 lakhs at the inaugural auctions of the Women’s Premier League in Mumbai.

Parunika Sudhir Sisodia was born on Thursday, 1 September 2005 (age 17 years; as of 2022) in village Doula, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. A few years later, her family shifted to Delhi. Parunika is a student of class 11 at Bharat National Public School, Delhi (as of 2023) . Inclined toward sports at a young age, Parunika played tennis and cricket in childhood. After making a mark in tennis, she decided to pursue cricket as her career. She took her initial lessons in cricketing from coach Athar Ali and later enrolled at Ram Pal Cricket Academy (RPCA), Delhi.

Her father, Sudhir Singh Sisodia, was also a cricketer in his younger days. She has two brothers.

Cricket
Parunika Sisodia started playing cricket at the age of 14 for Delhi Women’s U-19 team. In her debut tournament, she took 17 wickets and was placed in the eighth rank in the list of Indian top bowlers. Subsequently, she played for Delhi’s Senior Women’s team in 2021-22 and caught the attention of selectors by taking 14 wickets in the tournament. In 2022-23, Parunika played a T20 tournament for Delhi U-19 Women. Sisodia took 11 wickets in the tournament and subsequently, got selected to play for the Under-19 India B team. She took five wickets in three matches against Sri Lanka and West Indies. Even after several good performances, Parunika was not selected for the team for World Cup. In January 2023, Sisodia took 21 wickets for Delhi Women in the Women’s Senior One-Day Trophy. Thereafter, she played for the North Zone team in the Senior ODI Zonal Tournament in Hyderabad. Her jersey number is 27. She was bought by Gujarat Giants for Rs. 10 lakhs at the inaugural auctions of the Women’s Premier League in Mumbai in February 2023.
