Biography/Wiki

Pooja was born on 22 March 1984 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. During her teenage days, she was tomboyish. During her school days, she used to participate in many extracurricular activities. She is good in horse riding, swimming, Bharatnatyam & Kathakali dance. She has also been the Karnataka district and state champion in the shuttle. While she was in college, she decided to became the part of the entertainment industry and started taking part in beauty pageants. She is now one of the famous South Indian actresses and has worked in different languages like Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu.

Physical Appearance

She is a beautiful, talented, and hardworking Indian girl who is approximately 5′ 4” tall and weighs around 55 kg. She has dark brown eyes and black hair.

Pooja hails from a middle-class Malayali family background and was born to Ramachandran Mannattil and Sujatha Ramachandran. She has a sister, Aarthi Ramachandran. She is Hindu by religion.

On 10 January 2010, she got married to her long-time boyfriend Craig Gallyot, who is a VJ by profession but they got divorced in 2017.

Career

She did her schooling at Baldwin Girls’ High School, Bengaluru and Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. She did her graduation (B.Sc.) in Visual Communication from Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. At the age of 8, she did her first TV commercial advertisement and at the age of 18, she did her first Malayalam film Yathrakarude Sradhakku. In 2004, she won the beauty pageants title, Miss Coimbatore. In 2005, she took part in the Miss Kerala beauty pageant where she ended up as the runner-up.

In 2006, she, along with Purnima Maudgil, Anuj Gurwara, and Gibran, won the music’s Pan India Talent Hunt, VJ Factor 2 at Southern Spice (SS) Music. After that, she started working as a VJ at SS Music in Chennai.

In 2009, Pooja took part in an adventurous show, Anu Alavum Bayamillai Season 1 where she was declared as the winner. In 2012, she got the role of Cathy in the Tamil film Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi.

In 2018, she entered the most controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss Telugu Season 2 as a wild card contestant.
