Priya Devi Elangbam along with the Indian team consisting of Maipak Devi Ayekpam, Chaoba Devi Oinam, Leirentom Bi Devi Elangbam and Khushbu lost the match against Thailand with scores of 10–21 and 13–21 in the semifinals. In Sepak Takraw both losing semifinalist teams achieve the bronze medals.
