Priyanshu Kshatriya aka Priyanshu Thakur was born in 2004 (age 18 years; as of 2022) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was not interested in studies and used to roam around with his friends and play cards or sell coal with them.

Career
He acted in the movie Jhund alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. He said in an interview that he was selling coal near a factory when he was approached by some students from Anjuman college, and they recorded his video of dancing and dialogue delivery. He was unaware that they are recording the video in the guise of an audition for the film. After 15 days, he was approached by the director of the movie Jhund, Nagraj Manjule. They first approached his mother; however, she told them to leave, and they found Priyanshu playing cards with his friends on a railway track. His role as Babu Chettri was widely appreciated.
Controversies
Arrested for stealing phones
In 2021, a gang of thieves was arrested by the Nagpur Railway Police. Priyanshu Kshatriya’s name was included in that list. Police recovered 14 mobile phones from them.
Arrested for stealing jewellery worth Rs 5 Lakh
In November 2022, a resident of the Mankapur area in Nagpur, Pradeep Mondave, lodged a complaint against the theft of jewellery worth Rs 5 Lakh from his house. Nagpur police arrested a minor who took the name of Priyanshu. He was subsequently arrested on 22 November 2022, and the court ordered to keep him in custody till 25 November 2022. The stolen jewellery was recovered from a pigeon box in the Gaddigodam area.

- His movie Jhund was shot in the Gaddigodam area of Nagpur, the same area, from which, the police received the stolen items in the 2022 theft.
- He also appeared in the Kitchen Kalakar show on Zee Marathi to promote his movie Jhund.
- When the casting crew for the movie Jhund approached him for the first time, he contemplated running from there as he thought that the casting crew are police officers who are working in plain clothes.
