Puneesh did his schooling from Modern School, New Delhi and postgraduation (M.Sc. in International Business) from Sheffield Hallam University, New Delhi. In 2007, after completing his studies, he started working for the Mid State Construction. He is a popular investor in Delhi and has invested money in several different sources.
In 2009, he participated in the reality show Sarkaar Ki Duniya that aired on Real TV. He was declared as the winner of that show and won the cash prize of ₹ 1 crore.
In 2017, he started working at Playboy Club, New Delhi. In the same year, he participated in Bigg Boss 11 as a commoner. He entered this show to gain fame and mark his name in the country.
