Controversies
Big Boss elimination
Puneet Vashist got eliminated from the show and blamed Salman Khan for being biased against him. Puneet made allegations against Salman that the show’s winner is pre-decided by him in almost every season. In an interview, he revealed that he was boycotted by the Colors channel and was not getting work.
Everything is finalised according to Salman. I am not saying the show is scripted but you really need to be in the good books of Salman to last on this show. I dunno why Salman doesn’t like me but it was evident! Maybe he couldn’t see my talent selling on the show”.
Sushant Singh Rajput Controversy
On June 30, Puneet shared a post on Facebook in which he accused Sooraj Pancholi and Salman Khan of the murder of Sushant Singh Rajput. According to his post, Sooraj had an affair with Sushant’s manager Disha Salian, and she had become pregnant with Sooraj Pancholi’s child. Sooraj forced Disha to abort the child, but she was not in favour of it. One day, Disha was talking to Sushant on the phone about her situation, and Sooraj arrived at her apartment. On the same day, Sushant got the news of Disha’s suicide after she allegedly jumped off the building of her apartment. Sushant knew the truth and wanted to expose them. He discussed it with his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and his friend Sandeep Singh, but both of them told him to remain silent on the matter. Sandeep, being the informer of Sooraj, told him about Sushant’s intention. So, they planned the murder of Sushant, and Sandeep Singh executed his murder. Sooraj Pancholi and the parents of Disha Salian filed separate police complaints against Puneet Vashist for posting defamatory posts against them on social media. On 2 July, Puneet edited the post and added “forwarded” before it to hint that he did not post this. Puneet apologized for the post and said,
This post was not written by myself but was a forwarded post that I shared. I do not know about the source of this post nor do I have any proof about all the allegations. Who am I to accuse Sooraj of anything”.
