S. Sreesanth
Raai Laxmi was reportedly in an affair with cricketer S. Sreesanth during the early days of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The rumour started when they were spotted together multiple times. They both denied any relationship with each other, although Sreesanth admits to multiple friendly visits to the shooting locations of Raai Laxmi. According to her, the rumours happened after they shot a commercial together.
Vikram Singh
Raai Laxmi was allegedly in a relationship with fellow actor, Vikram Singh, who is known for the negative role he played in the Kannada film, Rana Vikrama (2015). Though the reasons for the break-up are unknown, they continue to be friendly and meet each other in social circles.

Raai Laxmi debuted in the film industry with the character named Anjaly in the Tamil film, Karka Kasadara (2005).
In the Telugu film industry, her first film was Kanchanamala Cable TV (2005) in which she played the character named Sireesha aka Kanchanamala.
She debuted in the Kannada film industry with the film, Valmiki (2005), opposite actor Shiva Rajkumar. Her first film in the Malayalam film industry was opposite actor Mohanlal in the film Rock n’ Roll (2007). The film was a commercial success and her role as a singer was also well-appreciated.
Some of her notable roles in films across the industries are Thenmozhi in the Malayalam film, Annan Thampi (2008), Aarthi Chinnappa in the Tamil film, Dhaam Dhoom (2008), Adv. Controversies
Legal battle with Tamil Weekly over a defaming article
Raai Laxmi filed a lawsuit against the Tamil Weekly, Kumudam, for publishing an article titled, Ore Arayil Herovudan Thanginal Thappa? (Is it wrong to stay in a room with the hero?), which harmed her image. She approached the court demanding compensation of Rs 30 lakh for defamation and the Madras High Court further put a restraining order on publishing any article regarding her.
