Ramandeep Singh is an Indian cricketer who has played for many teams including Punjab and Mumbai Indians. He became viral in July 2023 when he hit five consecutive sixes in the Shere Punjab T20 Cup.

Ramandeep Singh was born on Sunday, 13 April 1997 (age 26 years; as of 2023) in Chandigarh, India. His zodiac sign is Aries. While growing up, he liked playing sports; however, after watching the Indian team winning the T20 World Cup in 2007, he became totally involved in cricket.

His father wanted him to become a cyclist and gave him a cycle, imported from China, to practice; however, Ramandeep made up his mind to become a cricketer which his father agreed to and helped him hone his skills. He completed his schooling at Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh. While studying in school, he started playing in district-level and state-level competitions and later pursued a career in cricket.

Career
Domestic
Ramandeep Singh started training under the coach Sukhwinder Tinkoo and was later selected for Mohali Under-16 team in the Punjab Inter-District Championship in 2012 where he scored two centuries. He later played for Mohali Under-19 team in the Punjab U-19 Inter-District Championships in 2016. In 2017, he played for Mohali team in the Katoch Shield Tournament.

He made his T20 debut for Punjab on 29 January 2017 against Haryana in the Inter State Twenty-20 Tournament at Nadaun, Himachal Pradesh and scored 6 runs. In 2018, he represented Punjab Under-23 team in the BCCI U-23 One Day League which they won. He made his List A (one-day) debut for Punjab on 5 October 2019 against Vidarbha in the Vijay Hazare Trophy at Vadodara, Gujarat.

He made his first-class (test) debut for Punjab on 12 February 2020 against Bengal in the Ranji Trophy at Patiala, Punjab and got out on a duck in the first innings and scored 69 runs not out in the second innings; however, Punjab lost the match.
Indian Premier League (IPL)
He was acquired by Mumbai Indians for the 2022 IPL season at his base price of Rs 20 lakhs as a replacement for Suryakumar Yadav. He played his debut IPL match on 21 May 2022 against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. and scored 13 runs off 6 balls.

Ramandeep was acquired by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs. 20 lakh in the 2024 IPL auction, held at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on 19 December 2023.
