The model has given her humanitarian commitment to various causes. The cause that has been most near to her heart is the underprivileged children. She had already made a humanitarian trip to Togo, Senegal at just 20 years old where she was able to assist in educating more than 200 underprivileged children. She considers Africa as “her second home”.

After winning the Miss Tahiti Peagant, the model was catcalled a lot over the internet. Many people claimed that she looked “too Chinese”, or “not pure Tahitian or Polynesian” and even called her ”Miss Dragon 2.” “I have always been called Miss Dragon”, she mentioned in an interview with Hiti FM Radio. Amidst this, the French blogger, Tagikau Peni, who is also known by the name of Kaualuu, defended her through his social media posts.
