Career

In October 2011, she started working at Golden Acres Home Care Ii (nursing home) as a caregiver in Yuba City, California. After working there for a year, she joined Fremont Medical Hospital, Yuba City, CA, as a volunteer. In 2014, she participated in the Miss South Asia beauty pageant and won the title.

In 2015, she joined Diana’s Care Home, Hayward, CA, as a medicine administrator and caregiver. After working there for a few years, she started working as a customer support manager at Captiv8 in Palo Alto, CA, in May 2019.  She then worked as a model in various Punjabi music videos like “Dangey” (2017) by Dr. Zeus and Zora Randhawa.

In 2018, she debuted as an actor in the Punjabi film ‘Rang Punjab’ in which she played the female lead.

Apart from being an actress, she is a trained dancer and philanthropist.

• In an interview, while talking about making her career in acting. She said,
  

  I was pursuing my degree as a physician assistant but continued to maintain my dream to be an actress one day. I quickly realized the best things in life are often waiting for you at the exit ramp of your comfort zone and I started to do things that pushed me out of this zone to become a better individual. I was honoured to be selected as Miss South Asia USA in 2014. The confidence this title instilled within me really helped drive additional opportunities. I’ve never been a fan of normal modeling or cameo opportunities that my titular win brought with it. All I can say is that life is always about waiting for the right moment to act and I found mine soon.”

• Reena is an avid animal lover and has a pet dog.

• On 16 February 2022, she was travelling from Delhi to Punjab (in a car) with Deep Sidhu, the car had a major accident at Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway that bypasses Delhi. In the accident, Deep lost his life, and Reena had minor injuries. Later, Reena shared a heartfelt Instagram post for Deep Sidhu.
