Saarrh Kkashyap was born as Saar Kashyap on Saturday, 4 December 1999 (age 23 years; as of 2022) in Guwahati, Assam, India. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He did his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khanapara, Guwahati. He pursued B. Tech in Computer Science at SRM University, Guwahati. He later took formal training for acting at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares in Mumbai. Before starting his career as an actor, he worked as a software engineer in an IT firm.

Film
Saarrh Kkashyap made his debut with the multilingual film ‘Ship of Theseus’ (2012) in which he appeared in a supporting role. The film was made in Hindi, English, Arabic, and Swedish language. In 2016, he played the character of a news anchor in the film ‘Saat Kadam’ starring Ronit Roy. He rose to fame after he played the role of Wardhan in the Bollywood film ‘Padmaavat’ (2018).

In 2014, he appeared as Ankit in the TV series ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ on Life OK. He played the role of Agni in the TV series ‘Naagarjuna – Ek Yoddha’ (2016), which aired on Life OK. In the same year, he played the role of Lord Shiva in the Hindi sitcom ‘Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hain,’ which aired on SAB TV.

In an interview, he revealed that he faced various obstacles in getting work after the COVID-19 pandemic, which led him into depression. He further added that he has seen many improvements in his life after changing his name. While talking about it in the interview, he said,
I have changed my name to Saarrh Kkashyap. I believe in numerology and a popular numerologist suggested this name to me. I planned to give this a try and I’m blessed that it is actually helping me in many terms.”
- In an interview, Saarrh Kkashyap revealed the struggles and experiences he faced at the beginning of his career. He also recalled one of the bad experiences he had with a casting couch. He revealed that once he went for an audition where the producer told him about some special skills an actor should possess to remain in the industry and later asked him to show his private parts. He further said after the incident he felt scared about meeting the new people in the industry.
He was all alone at home and after usual greetings we started talking about work. And suddenly he told me some private affairs works more than the auditions. And asked me to show him how good I was with my private parts. Trust me I went blank and just told him Sir I’ll better concentrate on my audition and later politely I declined and just came out of his place. It was a huge shock for me.”
