He did his schooling at Divisional Public School, Lahore. He graduated in electronic and communication engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. While he was in the final year of his graduation, he auditioned for a TV show as a host.

Film
In 2004, he made his film debut with the Urdu film ‘Salakhain’ in which he played the role of Mansoor.
