Samyuktha Hegde is an Indian actor and professional dancer who predominantly works in the South Indian film industry. She is known for her appearance in Indian reality shows such as ‘MTV Roadies – Season 15’ (2017) and ‘MTV Splitsvila 11’ (2018).


Samyuktha Hegde was born on Friday, 17 July 1998 (age 25 years; as of 2023) in Bangalore (now Bengaluru), India. She grew up in Bengaluru.

Samyuktha did her schooling at St. Paul’s English School in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Reportedly, she enrolled herself in a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and journalism course but left it midway to pursue acting and dance.

In 2017, Samyuktha Hegde won the Filmfare Award South – Best Supporting Actress for the film ‘Kirik Party,’ a 2016 Kannada – language romantic comedy film.

  • Samyuktha Hegde is a fitness enthusiast. She could be spotted practising hula hoop, gyming, and other physical fitness activities on social media.
  • Reportedly, in 2020, Samyuktha Hegde, along with her friends, was abused by a group of men and a woman in one of the parks near Agara lake in Bengaluru while working out for wearing a sports outfit in public. Samyuktha, in a post on social media, explained how a woman named Kavitha Reddy abused her for wearing a sports bra in public and later went on to attack one of her friends as well. Following the incident, a group of men surrounded her and threatened to link her name to a drug racket scandal group. Samyuktha reported the case against the individuals involved in this case. A few days after this incident, Samyuktha received an apology letter from Kavitha Reddy, which Samyuktha shared on social media and accepted the same.

Abhishek added that a viral picture of Samyuktha covered in blood from the sets of the film ‘Kreem’ is just makeup, and she didn’t suffer any kind of blood loss due to the accident.
