Film

She debuted in Bollywood with a small role in the film Maa Kasam in 1999. Later, she appeared in many Marathi, Bhojpuri, and Telugu films. In 2005, she appeared in the role of Sapna in the Bhojpuri film Raja Bhojpuriya. She played the role of Sakshi in the Marathi film Sangharsh (2014). Later, she appeared in a Telugu film, Shubham, as well.

Television

In 2008, Sangeeta started her television career with the popular Zee TV serial Chotti Bahu in which she appeared as Mohini Virat Purohit. She played the character of Sumitra in Imagine TV’s Ramayan in 2008. She appeared as Nidhi Kaushal Rajvansh in the famous Star Plus show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke in 2019. In 2020, she appeared as Vijya Singh Shekhawat in a Zee TV show, Apna Time Bhi Aayega.

Entrepreneur 

She is the co-founder of the restaurant Lazzt-e-Lucknow, Bomb’ar, and Eat Like Punjabi along with Gaurav Sharma. They run all three restaurants in Mumbai.
