Sangeetha Sringeri started her career in the entertainment industry as a model. She has participated in various fashion shows and beauty pageants. In 2014, she was selected among the top 10 finalists in the beauty pageant Femina Miss India. She then took part in the Palaash National Beauty Pageant 2015.

When I embarked on the show, the makers asked me to delete all my modelling pictures because I was taking up a role that had divine connotations. They had experienced backlash with the female lead in the Hindi version of this show and hence wanted to avoid such a scenario here. I deleted all of those pictures from my social media to be a part of this TV show.”
