Misbehaving and Promoting Gun Culture
Sehej Arora and his wife once became infamous for arguing with a customer over the quality of their food. Furthermore, they were later accused of promoting gun culture on different social media platforms.
Leaked Private Video
In September 2023, Sehaj Arora came into the limelight after his private video with his wife, Gurpreet Kaur, surfaced on social media. Soon after the video went viral, Sehaj clarified through one of his social media accounts that the video was fake and moulded through an AI tool and registered an FIR. During the police investigations, a woman who used to work for Sehaj was arrested. It was revealed that after this woman created a fake Instagram account, she contacted the couple on 7 September 2023 and demanded a ransom of Rs. 20,000 by threatening to circulate their morphed video. The police stated that the woman had done this to seek revenge on the couple for terminating her employment. Sehaj also accused a YouTuber named Karan Dutta of playing a role in circulating the video. On 26 September 2023, Sehaj Arora, through a post on social media, claimed that he and his wife were facing political pressure to settle the matter. He further appealed for the public’s support and stated their decision not to settle the matter.
Offensive Language
Sehaj Arora found himself amidst controversy when he was accused of using inappropriate language in a video in December 2023. Soon after the video was posted on social media, members of the Nihang Sikh Community protested outside his Kulhad Pizza Restaurant. Sehaj later took to social media to address the matter. He shared a video on social media in which he clarified that the controversial video was meant to promote a song, and the voice wasn’t his. He mentioned that he didn’t even lip-sync the offensive words. Sehaj, moreover, revealed that some individuals from the Nihang Sikh Community visited his restaurant and demanded Rs. 50,000 to put an end to the protests.
