Sharvari Wagh was born on Friday, 14 June 1996 (age 23 years; as in 2019), in Mumbai. Her zodiac sign is Gemini. She did her schooling from The Dadar Parsee Youths Assembly High School, Mumbai. Later, she pursued her graduation in science from Ruparel College, Mumbai.

She was born in a Maharashtrian family. Her father, Shailesh Wagh is a builder. Her mother’s name is Namrata Wagh who works as an architect. Her sister, Kasturi Wagh is an architect too. She has a younger brother Arnav Wagh. The former Chief Minister of Maharastra and Shiv Sena veteran, Manohar Joshi who has also served as the 13th Speaker of the Lok Sabha is her maternal grandfather.

Career
She started her career as a model at the age of 16. In 2013, she won the Clean and Clear Fresh Face contest while she was in college.

After winning the Clean and Clear Fresh Face contest, she was offered a TV commercial. Later, she appeared in various advertisements as a model.

She did a nine-month acting course from Jeff Goldberg’s Studio along with weekend theatre workshops, to brush up her acting skills. She auditioned for almost five years to get a pivotal role in films. She worked as an assistant director in three Bollywood films, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), Bajirao Mastani (2015), and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). In 2020, she debuted in the Amazon Prime web-series, ‘The Forgotten Army- Azaadi Ke Liye’ along with Sunny Kaushal.
She was roped in for the Bollywood film, Bunty Aur Babli 2 (2020), alongside Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

- In an interview, she shared how she got selected for ‘The Forgotten Army- Azaadi Ke Liye’ (2020), she said,
One day, I got a call from (casting director) Mukesh Chhabra’s office telling me I was shortlisted for the role. Then Kabir Khan directed all the shortlisted actors and after that, I got the role. In auditions, you get a character sketch, not the history of the character or its connection to the story.”
