Shraddha completed her school education at St. Anthonyā€™s Girlsā€™ High School in Chembur, Mumbai. She graduated with a Bachelor in Mass Media degree in Journalism and a Bachelor in Psychology degree. She did her college education at Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College in Matunga (East), Mumbai, and SIES (South Indian Educational Society) College of Arts, Science & Commerce, University of Mumbai, in Sion, Mumbai. Shraddha Das debuted in the Telugu film Siddu from Srikakulam (2008) as the character Nisha.

She appeared as the character Shanti in the Telugu sequel film Arya 2 (2009), which was one of the popular films of that year.

The first film she signed to act in Bollywood was the Sports film, Lahore (2010) in which she played the character of a psychiatrist from Pakistan named Ida. The character received wide appreciation from the audience.
