Silvina Luna (1980-2023) was an Argentine model, actress, and vedette (cabaret) artist. On 31 August 2023, she died of kidney complications which were allegedly caused due to complications of her butt lifting surgery.

Silvina Noelia Luna was born on Saturday, 21 June 1980 (age 43 years; at the time of death) in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. Her zodiac sign is Cancer.

Death
On 31 August 2023, she died of a kidney ailment, which was reportedly caused by the complications of buttock lifting surgery. In October and November 2011, Luna underwent a Brazilian buttock lifting surgery. In 2014, it was detected that she had kidney stones which were alleged to be caused by her cosmetic surgeon’s use of methacrylate on her buttocks. Twelve years after her initial cosmetic surgery, her doctors advised her a kidney transplant. In 2023, her health started deteriorating, and she was rushed to a nearby hospital. In April 2023, Luna shared a video on her Instagram account where she was seen relying on a life-sustaining machine in a hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
On 19 August 2023, the officials of the hospital where she was admitted reported that she had contracted a bacterial infection due to which she was removed from life-support machines. However, she could not survive, and she took her last breath on 31 August 2023.
