Soamjena was born as Soumendra Jena on Friday, 25 September 1987 (age 36 years; as of 2023) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. His zodiac sign is Libra. He did his schooling at Loyola School, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. In 2007, he pursued a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering at the Utkal University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha; however, he dropped out in the second year.

Odd Jobs
Soamjena faced financial instability during college, so he picked up part-time jobs like repairing mobile phones and computers for an amount of INR50 to INR100. With his skills and proficiency, he gained the title of ‘Mobile Ninja’ and ‘Computer Ninja’ amongst his friends. After saving an amount of approximately INR 20,000, he bought a 12th-hand laptop from eBay, which he used for learning HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT etc. He then started to offer basic coding services to people for free and within some time people started paying him for his work. In 2008, he dropped out of college and moved back to his hometown because he had no money to pay his hostel bills.
Entrepreneur
In 2008, Soamjena started his first company, ‘QubeSys,’ in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha; he registered the company in 2009. He started this company based on his interest in coding. It is an IT company that specializes in website design, app development, eCommerce, and YouTube consulting. QubeSys is now based in Dubai. In 2010, he started a media company, ‘Photozone,’ located in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. It specialises in wedding films, corporate films, and aerial imaging. The drive to start this company came from his interest in creating content and his passion for filming. Photozone has worked with brands like Audi, Mercedes, Budweiser, Maruti Suzuki, etc. In 2014, he started the online store SBK store also known as Superbike Store. It is a one-stop shopping centre for bikers who need riding gear, bike parts, helmets, apparel, and other accessories. In 2015, he started an internet service provider company, JetSpot, in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, because he was fascinated by Cisco Gear, a local internet-providing company in Bhubaneshwar, and how the internet works.
Soamjena always wanted to build his own small DC (Data centre) and host clients worldwide, which led him to launch JetCloud in 2017, which is the 1st data centre from Odisha, offering robust, scalable, and secure solutions to all hosting requirements. In 2018, he started his merch store named Mystock.
YouTube
In 2018, he started his YouTube channel, SOAMJENA. He has more than 430K subscribers on his YouTube channel. He uploads daily life vlogs, finance vlogs, premium bikes & cars vlogs, travel vlogs, and trading vlogs. In 2020, he started another YouTube channel, Odiatoka, where he started sharing vlogs in the Odia language.
Trader
In 2022, Soamjena started learning the basics of trading.
After doing research for 3-4 months and practising trading, he launched his own website, www.soamjena.com, where he started selling his pre-designed algo strategies to other traders. He often shares his personal trading experiences and advice in his YouTube vlogs. On a few occasions, he went live on YouTube for trading. In October 2021, Soamjena moved to Dubai to indulge in the crypto market completely and save on taxes.
Other ventures
Soamjena has various other sources of income. He is an affiliate marketer which involves promoting products on his blogs or through any of his social media accounts. Anytime a person buys a product through his link, he receives a commission for it. He also provides personal consulting services to various brands, to boost their growth, and formulate strategies. In 2023, he also ventured into the real estate business.

Soamjena owns a BMW Z4, Audi A4, BMW CS, Mercedes-Benz G-wagon (purchased in 2021 and sold in 2023), Tesla Model 3 (purchased in 2022 and sold in 2023), Porsche Taycan 4S, and a Lamborghini Urus.

Watch Collection
Soamjena loves collecting watches and has a small Rolex collection. He owns a Rolex Submariner watch, a Rolex GMT-Master, and a Rolex Omega Seamaster. His favourite watch that he owns is the Breitling Avenger Blackbird.
Tattoos
He has tattoos on both his arms. The Maori tattoo on his right arm was designed by his wife. The tattoos on his left arm have four elements; Samurai with a sword, warrior head, dreamcatcher lady (designed by his wife), and skull with a crow tattoo.

- In 2013, Soamjena got his first bike, a Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight, which ignited his craze for bikes.
- In one of his vlogs, he talked about his travel schedules and said that he usually plans his travels a year before, and he goes on three road trips every year; each road trip covers a journey of at least 2,000 to 3,000 miles. He likes to travel solo. The countries that he has travelled to are the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Singapore, China, Hongkong, Thailand, Maldives, Indonesia, and Switzerland.
- His hobbies include riding bikes and creating content. According to him, bike riding is the best stress reliever for him.

- Soamjena’s favourite snack is Dahibara. He enjoys eating Indian food the most.
- On 8 September 2023, Soamjena lost approximately Rs. 78 lakh due to an error that happened in the Sensex call option at 67000 strikes. This incident occurred due to a glitch in the Zerodha app.
