From 1997 to 1999 she worked for a small unknown network in Pittsburgh. After leaving that role, she worked as a producer for WFMZ TV until 2000.From 2000 – 2001 she briefly worked as a producer, anchor, and reporter for WVVA in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area.

Also beginning in 2000, she became an anchor for a weekday morning and noon newscast with WBRE-TV. She also produced the noon cast.By early 2001, she was promoted to a weekend anchor. She was able to host several telethons for both the “Let’s Make A Wish Foundation” and “Children’s Miracle Network” in this role. Stacey left that role in 2004 and moved to NBC 10 WCAU-TV, where she worked as the Weekend Morning Anchor. She held this role for 8 years, before relinquishing it in July of 2012.

From there, she began working as a general reporter for NBC 10 and FOX 29 News. She worked as a freelance journalist from 2012 to 2014.

In January 2014, it was announced that she would be the new host for QVC.She initially heard about the job in 2013 from her yoga instructor in New York, who did part-time modelling for the QVC network.

She knew Stacey was between jobs, and suggested she go for a QVC hosting role.Stacey initially felt like she would not be able to do this role, however her husband reminded her that she would be selling items she used, so if she kept it relatable – she would be fine.

In the summer of 2013, QVC hosted an open casting call, which she attended. She impressed the judges and made it to the next round. After 3 more rounds of auditions, it was announced that she was successful.
She has said that working for QVC has changed her life, as they as a company understand her desire to put her family first, and they don’t punish her or limit her options because of that.
