Tanya Purohit was born on Saturday, 9 November 1991 (age 29 years; as in 2020) in Agastyamuni, Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio.
Tanya did her schooling from a government school in Pauri Garhwal. She was inclined towards acting from a very young age, and she joined theatre when she was just 4 years old. After completing her schooling, Tanya enrolled herself in Uttarakhand’s Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University to pursue M.A. in Mass Communication. While in college, Tanya actively took part in theatre.

Career
Tanya Purohit started her acting career in 2015 by playing the role of ‘Manju’ in the Bollywood film “NH10.” Next, she made her television debut with Doordarshan’s serial “Ek Tha Rusty season 3.” She, then, appeared in DD Kisan’s show “Ultapur.”
In 2017, Tanya appeared in the film “Terror Strike – Beyond Boundaries.”
In 2020, she hosted “The Caribbean Premier League” In the same year, Tanya appeared as a host in the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League.
