In 2011 is when Egerton began his career with a small role in two episodes of the ITV series Lewis as Liam Jay. He was later added to the main cast of the Sky1 series “The Smoke”. He played Garry ‘Eggsy’ Unwin, the young protégé of Harry Hart (Colin Firth), in Matthew Vaughn’s film Kingsman: The Secret Service and its sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
The first movie’s success launched Egerton into fame and signed him into a three-movie contract with 20th Century Fox. In the firm “Testament of Youth” Egerton co-starred based on the life of Vera Brittain and also appeared in the two-part episode “The Ramblin’Boy” in the seventh series of Lewis as Liam. It was reported in 2015 that Egerton would be starring in Billionaire Boys Club. In 2015 and 2016 he became one of GQ’s 50 best-dressed British men.

Egerton needed a little convincing to also belt out a few lyrics from his favorite karaoke song, George Michael’s “Faith.”

Taron Egerton Family
Egerton was born to David Egerton and mother, Christina “Tina” Pound (parents from nearby Liverpool). His grandmother is Welsh with two younger sisters. His father is a musician and his mother is a social worker. His parents separated when he was very young, and from then on he lived with his mother.

The Welsh actor shared a photo on his Instagram page a while back with the caption, “Cutie. My boy” accompanied by a heart emoji. His followers were thrown into a frenzy, and he responded to one of the comments that asked his name and said, “nah, he’s mine and mine only.” He also liked a comment that asked whether that meant he had a boyfriend now.
He Clarified his Sexuality saying that, One of the lads was at his London flat, and he Instagrammed a picture of him and said ‘Look at this cutie’, and a million outlets reported he was coming out as gay… I’m not gay but two of my mates came out when I was 15 and it was a joy to support them because, as a group, we are all secure in whom we are.” He explained. “I’m certainly not going to stop calling my mates cuties and gorgeous, because they are cuties, and they are gorgeous,” he added.

Egerton enrolled for his primary school at Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, on the Welsh island of Anglesey. At the age of 12 he relocated to Aberystwyth and attended Ysgol Penglais School before he went on to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he graduated with a BA (Hons) Acting in 2012.
