Vanessa Ponce was born on March 7, 1992 (age 26; as in 2018) in Guanajuato City, Guanajuato, Mexico. She holds a degree in International Business and a Diploma in Human Rights. She is a qualified Open Water Scuba Diver. She entered the field of modelling after she won the Cycle 5 of Mexico’s Next Top Model in 2014 and since then there has been no looking back for her.
In 2018, Vanessa Ponce was on the Board of Directors of ‘Migrantes en el Camino’, a Rehab Centre for Girls. She also speaks regularly at the National Youth Institute.
Vanessa has also been a part of various campaigns for brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce & Gabbana and many more.

Vanessa Ponce shot to fame when she won the Cycle 5 of Mexico’s Next Top Model in 2014. Further, Ponce was crowned the “Miss World Mexico 2018″ on May 5, 2018. In December 2018, she hit the headlines by winning the beauty pageant Miss World 2018; making her the first ever Mexican to be crowned the Miss World. Miss World 2017, Manushi Chillar, crowned her the Miss World 2018.
